Dr. K Pregnancy Specialist is a dedicated women’s health physician who provides expert care for individuals with advanced pregnancy needs. Her field—known as Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM), High-Risk Obstetrics, or Perinatology—focuses on managing complex pregnancies to support the best possible outcomes for both mother and baby.

As a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist, Dr. K Pregnancy Specialist is highly trained in using advanced prenatal ultrasound to assess fetal growth, development, and diagnose both typical and atypical findings in the womb. She also specializes in managing medical conditions in pregnant individuals that may complicate pregnancy. Many national guidelines for safe obstetric care are written by experts in this field.

Dr. K Pregnancy Specialist earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Miami in Florida. She completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Winthrop University Hospital in New York, followed by a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at a renowned joint program sponsored by the Perinatology Research Branch of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Wayne State University, and the Detroit Medical Center. She currently practices in the Midwestern United States.

Her professional interests include risk prevention and reduction during pregnancy, diagnosing and managing fetal birth defects, and supporting healthy postpartum practices, including breastfeeding. She is known for her clear, compassionate, and non-alarmist approach to communicating complex medical information—a skill refined through her own cross-cultural experiences living in French- and Spanish-speaking countries.

Dr. K Pregnancy Specialist has published research in leading peer-reviewed obstetric journals and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
